Dr. Déo Mwapinga
Amb. Deo Mwapinga, a Tanzanian National who was appointed Secretary General in April 2025, Before joining the forum he served in the Government of Tanzania in various capacities including being the Director of Geopolitics in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the Cabinet Secretariat. Amb. Mwapinga holds a PhD in Political Science (Canada) and Masters Degree in National Security (Israel). His areas of expertise includes Forced Migration, Conflict Management and International Relations. Amb. Mwapinga was Appointed an Ambassador on 29th June, 2025 by Her Excellence Samia Suluhu Hassan the President of United of Republic of Tanzania serving in the same capacity as Secretary General of the Forum.
