Violette Katya
On March 10, 2022, Katya commenced her position at FP-ICGLR as an Administrative Assistant and Protocol Officer. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Private and Judicial Law, which she obtained in 2008 from William Booth University in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Additionally, she completed a short course in Refugee Law and Humanitarian Support at the VerLoren van Themaat Centre at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2013. She pursued studies in Cyber Law and Cybercrime at the Mandela Institute, University of Witwatersrand, in South Africa in 2016. Before joining the Forum, she had served as the National Coordinator for a non-profit organisation named “Appui aux Initiatives Socio-educatives de Développement” (Support for Socio-Educational Development Initiatives).
